What WFS does

Walmart Fulfillment Services stores eligible inventory and handles picking, packing, shipping and eligible returns. It can improve delivery speed and reduce the seller's day-to-day fulfillment load.

Before you send inventory

Confirm product eligibility, dimensions, weights, labeling and item content. Forecast conservatively. Sending too much inventory ties up cash; sending too little creates stockouts and interrupts momentum.

Item setup is the foundation

Accurate identifiers, attributes, categories, images and descriptions help discovery and reduce errors. Resolve unpublished and quality alerts before expecting fulfillment to solve conversion problems.

Watch the full economics

Model referral fees, fulfillment charges, storage, inbound freight, returns, advertising and discounting. Marketplace revenue is not profit, and a fast-moving item can still have weak contribution margin.

Build a weekly operating rhythm

Review inventory coverage, stranded or unpublished items, price competitiveness, order defects, returns and replenishment needs. Assign every exception to an owner and a deadline.
